We were one of the 3 good causes supported by the Waitrose Northwood store for the month  of December 2009 and as a consequence we have been awarded £267.

 Waitrose Community Matters is a scheme whereby each month our local Ruislip & Northwood stores each choose 3 local good causes to support. Both stores then donate £1000 spread between their chosen 3 local good causes. So every month 6 local fund raising schemes are supported by Waitrose

At the checkout, shoppers are given a green token to place in one of the boxes representing the month's local fund raising activities. At the end of the month the tokens are weighed and the money is distributed in the ratio of the tokens cast by the shoppers.

Thank you to all of you who supported the club by shopping at Waitrose Ruislip branch when we last received support from the company and once again when selected by Waitrose Northwood branch. We managed to obtain 26% of the tokens cast in the period on both occasions.
