2009 NASCH  Championships

  Held at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre Leamington Spa  
  Saturday 7th November 2009  
     
 

  • Region 1 finished 2nd overall scoring 76 points and therefore won the Elaine Parker Trophy. Region 3 won the Championship with 82 points

  • The Junior Team finished 2nd on 27 points just 2 point behind the winners Region 8.

  • The Senior Team also finished 2nd behind Region 3 with 38 points.

  • The Region won 9 National medals (4 Silver and 5 Bronze).

  • Silver medal winners were: Gary Lee in the Mens 50 metres; Jack Locket in the Boys 100 metres; Neil Dew in the Boys 25 metres and  Rhiannon Parsons Bailey (SeaLion) in the Girls 100 metres.

  • Bronze medal winners were: Karen Hoffmann  in the Ladies 25 metres; Nabardia Dabasia (Kingfisher) in the Ladies 100 metres; Sabastian Fisher Burrows (Kingfisher) in the Boys 50metres; Rhiannon Parsons Bailey (SeaLion) in the Girls 50 metres.

  • The Mens Relay Team won the bronze medal (Carl Richards; Gary Lee & Pritesh Vara (kingfisher)
