Ruislip Turtles and NASCH Region 1 Gala Results

  It was the responsibility of the Turtles to host the Region 1 final for 2009 as they were the 2008 Region 1 Champions. So the gala this year was a combined event of the Invitation Gala and NASCH Region 1 Final.

  • Harrow Kingfishers won the Invitation Gala , the Turtles team finished 4th.

  • Watford Sea Lions won  the Region 1 Trophy and will now host the event in September 2010. The Turtles were 3rd in the Regional Gala.

  • The Turtles won 7 medals in the Invitation Gala (3 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze).

  • Invitation gold medal winners were:  Jack Locket and Gary Lee plus Gary Lee and Carl Richards in the Relay race.

  • In the Region 1 Gala the Turtles won 12 medals (3 Gold 4 Silver and 5 Bronze) with every member of the Turtles Region 1 team winning a medal.

  • Region 1 gold medal winners were: Jack Locket; Gary Lee  and the Mens Relay Team  of Gary Lee and Carl Richards.
